Christos celebrates the shape, depth and spirit of women

Adrienne Christos is a Boston-based artist focused on the beauty of the female subject - playing with roles chosen by and imposed on women in our society, our families, and our romantic relationships.  Gestural abstractions are often at the center, as is her self-diagnosed Paredolia.

Adrienne works with accidents, erosion of half dried layers, collage elements and lighting to create her pieces without a sketch & plan. Often painting without brushes, she celebrates the shape, depth and spirit of women.  Her studio is located in the SOWA arts district in Boston, Massachusetts.
